The Brisbane Trail Marathon & TRAQ 25 is gearing up to be an epic trail running experience on April 28, 2024. Set against the stunning backdrop of Enoggera Reservoir in The Gap, this event offers a range of distances to cater to all levels of runners. From the challenging 42.2 km Marathon to the 25.8 km TRAQ 25 and the 12.5 km Walkabout Creek Trail Race, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the iconic South D’Aguilar National Park and the picturesque Enoggera Reservoir as they navigate through eucalypt woodlands and lush subtropical rainforest. The diverse terrain and trail surfaces promise a truly immersive trail running experience for all.
With entry fees starting at $85.00 for non-members, the event is limited to 300 participants, so runners are encouraged to secure their spot early. Refunds are available up to two weeks before the event, with a small admin charge. Mandatory gear and medical services will be in place to ensure the safety of all participants, and post-event catering will be provided to help runners replenish and recover.
The Marathon and TRAQ 25 courses have recommended cut-off times of 7 hours and 5 hours 30 minutes, respectively. Participants are advised to arrive early to collect their bibs and attend the race briefing. Access to the event location is through the Koala Plantation access road, with limited parking available. Carpooling is recommended to manage parking constraints and respect the surrounding community.
