Welcome to the Bridport Barracudas Swimming Club! Located in the charming town of Bridport in beautiful Dorset, the Barracudas are a Swim England affiliated club with Swim Mark Club Accreditation. Established in 1995, the club boasts a membership of over 100 enthusiastic swimmers.
At the Bridport Leisure Centre, the Barracudas have access to excellent facilities that provide the perfect environment for training and development. The club is proud to have a dedicated and experienced coaching teaching team who are committed to helping swimmers achieve their full potential.
The Bridport Barracudas Swimming Club is primarily a competitive swimming club, offering children and adults in our community the opportunity to learn to swim and compete in galas locally and even nationally. While we do offer a comprehensive learn to swim programme, our main focus is on developing athletes beyond what a typical swim school offers.
As a non-profit-making club, we rely entirely on the support and contribution of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time to the club. These individuals share in our goals and aspirations, and their selflessness is what allows us to provide opportunities to our swimmers. We encourage parents and guardians of our members to actively support the club and join our voluntary workforce in supporting the development and success of our swimmers.
