Emma, the founder and instructor of Body and Soul Yoga, has been practising yoga since 2002 and is highly qualified, holding certifications in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Core Yoga, and Restorative Yoga. She is registered with Yoga Australia as a Level 1 teacher and is dedicated to creating personalised experiences for each student, considering their experience, strength, and abilities.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is the main style of yoga taught at Body and Soul Yoga. It is inspired by Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and involves flowing from one pose to another harmoniously, accompanied by mindful movements and focused breath. Emma incorporates postures from the Ashtanga Primary Series along with sun salutations, standing, balancing, and seated poses. Each class includes a guided relaxation to promote deep relaxation and rejuvenation.
It is important to note that Vinyasa Flow Yoga is not suitable for pregnant students who are new to yoga.
