Welcome to Boardwalk Lifeguard, the premier surf lifesaving club located in Mount Coolum on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. With our dedicated team of lifeguards, we are committed to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all beachgoers.

At Boardwalk Lifeguard, our mission is to provide a safe and secure environment for everyone who visits our beach. We are proud to be a part of the Australian Lifeguard Service, which allows us to offer patrols from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, seven days a week. Our highly trained and experienced lifeguards are always on hand to monitor beach conditions, provide first aid, and perform rescues if needed.

When it comes to beach safety, we prioritise education and awareness. We understand that beach conditions can be unpredictable, which is why we provide up-to-date information on weather, swell, wind, tide, and UV index. However, it is important to remember that these are just guidelines, and personal observation and understanding of your own abilities in the surf should always come first.

Boardwalk Lifeguard is centrally located near several popular beaches, including Sunshine Beach, Sunrise Beach, Marcus Beach, and North Peregian Beach. Our lifeguards work closely with other nearby surf lifesaving clubs to ensure a coordinated and efficient response in case of emergencies.

One of the greatest hazards on Australian beaches is rip currents. They are responsible for numerous drownings each year. That's why we are committed to raising awareness about rip currents and educating beachgoers on how to identify and avoid them. Our team provides resources and information on how to spot a rip current, survive if caught in one, and shares real-life stories to emphasise the importance of beach safety.

To support our lifesaving efforts, we rely on the generosity of our community. Every dollar counts, and even a small donation of $20 can make a difference in saving a life. We encourage everyone to contribute and help us continue to provide the highest level of safety and security at the beach.
