Blue Dog Jiu-Jitsu, based in Yeovil, proudly stands as an independent club committed to equality and inclusivity. Organiser Roger believes in training across clubs and styles, welcoming travellers from BJJ Globetrotters with a generous week of free training. Athletes are free to wear any Gi they prefer, adorned with any patches they like.

Roger and his experienced coaching team offer top-notch instruction at an affordable rate. Roger, a Purple Belt, brings extensive martial arts experience since 1986, covering disciplines like Kyokushinkai Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2017. James also holds a Purple Belt and has over a decade of experience, regularly engaging with top practitioners at BJJ Globetrotters camps. Oli, a Blue Belt, has a decade’s experience in various martial arts, while Josh, also a Blue Belt, is a formidable competitor known for his technical skill and competition successes.

Blue Dog Jiu-Jitsu caters to all with classes in Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals and No Gi Jiu-Jitsu, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment. The club offers various pricing plans, including drop-in sessions at £10, and monthly options for individuals and families starting at £40.

Classes are held at Unit 18, Venture 20, Brympton Way, Lynx Trading Estate, Yeovil, BA20 2HP. Attendees can park in front of the unit or on Brymptom Way but should avoid parking at Wickes due to locked gates after 8pm.
