At blok yoga, we believe in the power of breath work and its ability to enhance our daily lives. Our studio in Double Bay offers a wide range of classes and workshops that incorporate breath work into the practise. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, our classes are designed to help you tap into the transformative power of your breath.

Founded by Sammy Bowmer in 2021, blok yoga is a culmination of her extensive studies in movement, breath work, and meditation. Drawing inspiration from various disciplines such as Katonah Yoga, Vinyasa, Mandala, and Pilates, Sammy has curated a unique and practical approach to movement that will leave you feeling good.
For us, movement is like origami. It's the folding and unfolding of the body to create fluidity and ease. Breath work fills the cup of our practise, and meditation allows us to drink from the elixir of longevity and joy. We believe in progress, not perfection, and we leave expectations and judgement at the door.
