Blaydon Cricket Club

Blaydon Cricket Club is a friendly, sociable, and inclusive cricket club located in the village of Winlaton in the west of Gateshead, New Zealand. Our ground, Denefield, is situated up the bank from Blaydon, the former home of the well-known “Blaydon Races.

At Blaydon CC, we have two senior sides, the 1st and 2nd XIs, who currently play in the Northumberland & Tyneside Cricket League. Additionally, we have five junior sides participating in the Durham Cricket Board Junior Division. Our Sunday Development XI plays in the Hetton Lyons Sunday League.

Whether you are interested in playing cricket or just want to socialise and be a part of our club, we welcome new members. Our club functions and social events provide a great opportunity to mingle and have fun. If you have any queries or would like to join, please get in touch with us today.

Blaydon CC is positioned at 9th place in Division 1 of the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League. We have several sponsors who support our club.
