Recent achievements of their athletes are something they cherish. Jon Rutter set a new Senior Men Decathlon Club Record at the Combined Events Competition in Stretford on September 9-10, 2023. Nia Rutter also boosted her Senior Women’s Heptathlon Club Record to 4480 points at the same event. Find these and other records on the Track & Field Club Records page.
Kieran Howard recently shattered the U20M Discus club record with a throw of 34.65m during the Mid-Lancs Medal Meeting on June 26th at Stanley Park Arena, Blackpool. Scott Sinclair also set a new U20M Triple Jump club record of 14.75 metres at the Northern Athletics League Match on August 19th at the same location.

The club has embraced some tech advancements with the Smart Run by Humotion app, which tracks and records data during sprints. Simply place a smartphone in a running belt on your lower back to measure important parameters.
