Welcome to BJK Martial Arts, located in Osborne Park, Perth, Australia. BJK Martial Arts is a Doj that offers training in Bujinkan Bud Taijutsu, a school created by Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi Sensei. With a focus on traditional Japanese martial arts, the Doj provides a safe and controlled environment for students to learn and practise.
At BJK Martial Arts, students have the opportunity to study nine different styles of traditional Japanese martial arts. These include Gikan Ry Koppjutsu, Gyokko Ry Koshijutsu, Gyokushin Ry Ninjutsu, Kot Ry Koppjutsu, Kukishinden Ry Happ Bikenjutsu, Kumogakure Ry Ninjutsu, Shinden Fudo Ry Dakentaijutsu, Takagi Yoshin Ry Jtaijutsu, and Togakure Ry Ninjutsu. Through dedicated training, students are able to develop their skills in empty-handed combat techniques and the use of ancient weapons such as Katana, Wakizashi, Shinai, Hanb, Rokushaku B, Yari, and more.
Led by Shihan Gustavo Arguello, or Gus as he is affectionately called by his friends, BJK Martial Arts offers a unique blend of traditional Japanese training and techniques with a realistic approach. Gus began his Bujinkan training in 2001 and has trained extensively under the guidance of Shihan Antonio Rodrguez and Shihan Rafael Franco.
At BJK Martial Arts, there are no competitions, tournaments, or spotlights. The focus here is on personal development and becoming a better person. The Doj believes in the importance of honest and trustworthy individuals with strong principles and ethics. Through the practise of martial arts, students are encouraged to contribute positively to society and help create a better world.
