Welcome to Bishopswood Bowling Club! Established in 1935, our club is located in the picturesque Hampstead Garden Suburb, nestled in the serene Lyttelton Playing Fields off Norrice Lea. We pride ourselves on being a super friendly club that extends a warm welcome to visitors of all ages, from kids under 10 to spirited centenarians. Regardless of your background or ability, we invite both seasoned bowlers and newcomers to join our community.

At Bishopswood Bowling Club, we offer free coaching to those new to the game, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to learn and thrive. Need equipment? No problem! We can provide the necessary gear to get you started.

Our six rink outdoor green is available throughout the day, every day, giving you ample opportunities to practise and enjoy a game. We also have scheduled Roll Ups in the morning, afternoon, and twilight (early evening), except on Saturdays.

Throughout the season, we hold various club competitions and leagues that add a touch of excitement to your bowling experience. One of our most cherished traditions is the long-standing Friday morning league, which is known for its friendly and fun atmosphere. This league serves as an excellent introduction to those interested in participating in a range of thrilling competitions. Additionally, our members are encouraged to arrange games with other members at their convenience through prior arrangement.

Bishopswood Bowling Club is proud to be affiliated with prominent bowling organisations such as Bowls England, Middlesex Bowling Association, and Finchley and North London Bowls Association. These affiliations further enhance our commitment to promoting the sport of bowling in London.

Finding us is easy! Our green is located in the Lyttelton Playing Fields within Hampstead Garden Suburb, in the northwest part of London. You can enter through Norrice Lea, specifically between house numbers 16 and 18.
