Meet John Dowling, the lead instructor at BMF Oxford. With 26 years of serving in the Royal Air Force, John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. He started as a Physical Training Instructor in 1990 and specialised as an Adventure Training Instructor in 1993. Throughout his career, he has taught a wide range of individuals, from basic training to specialised environments such as Northern Ireland, Croatia, and the Falklands.

John retired from the Royal Air Force in 2016 and has been working for BMF since September 2017. As a keen sportsman, John also played rugby at a high level back in the day.
