Beginner Course for Kids

The Adelaide Swords Club is excited to announce a Swordfighting event coming up on Saturday morning during Term 1, 2024. This beginner course is perfect for kids aged between 8–15 years old who are eager to learn the art of fencing. With 5 × 1 hour sessions lined up, participants will get the chance to master footwork, blade work, and how to navigate the electronic scoring system. To ensure a smooth experience, attendees are advised to come dressed in long track pants, sneakers, and a t-shirt, and don't forget to bring along a water bottle.

The cost of the 5-week course is $160, with bookings opening on January 29 for a limited number of spots. If you miss out this time, fret not as more opportunities will be available in the future. For those who have prior experience in fencing, reaching out to the club to explore membership options might just be the key! Additionally, after completing the beginner course, kids are welcome to continue their fencing journey by enrolling in our Saturday morning classes.

In terms of cancellations, the club operates on an 80% refund policy for cancellations made a week before the course starts. Unfortunately, refunds are not available after that point, but attendees are allowed to transfer their booking to someone else. Please note that no partial refunds or discounts will be given for missed classes, so be sure to mark your calendars!
