Years have taught me anything, it's that finding balance is essential for our overall well-being. In Yoga Calm, I aim to create a space where you can slow down, let go, and find that balance again.
During this class, we will focus on gentle movements and mindful breathing to release tension in the body and calm the mind. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, this class is open to all levels. I believe that yoga is not about achieving the perfect pose, but rather about connecting with your body and finding what feels good for you.
As a qualified 200hr Yoga Teacher and 85hr Pre & Postnatal Yoga Teacher, I bring a nurturing approach to my classes. I understand that everyone's journey is unique, and I encourage you to listen to your body and honour your own limits. I provide modifications and options throughout the class, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and supported.
My passion for yoga stems from my own personal experience with anxiety. A few years ago, I felt overwhelmed and disconnected from myself. Yoga came into my life at the perfect time and provided me with a sense of grounding and balance. Through my own practise, I discovered the power of yoga in calming the mind and finding inner peace.
In addition to Yoga Calm, I also offer a variety of other classes, including Weekend Wake Up, an uplifting vinyasa flow to re-energise for the weekend, and a Yoga for Anxiety Course, a 5-week programme designed to help you find calm in your everyday life. Furthermore, I teach a 45-minute quick Yoga hit at Deer Park Leisure Centre for those looking for a shorter class to balance their body and mind.
