Welcome to Beach Yoga with Baani, a community led by Bhav, who stumbled upon the path of yoga during a journey of self-inquiry into the body. A strong believer in the body as a temple, Bhav uses yoga as a tool to unravel the mysteries of the body's inner workings. The classes are designed to make yoga more accessible to everyone, with an emphasis on comfortable outdoor experiences by the ocean to beat the Singapore heat.
The yoga sequences are based on traditional Hatha/Vinyasa techniques, aimed at boosting energy levels and keeping the body free of inflammation and diseases with regular practise. Bhav hosts these sessions as part of her Kriya yoga practise and towards completing her Yoga training programme (RYT 200 Hours), with the goal of sharing the benefits of yoga with others. Beach Yoga with Baani offers a range of classes, from Free Yoga to Energy Flow to Detox Mornings, catering to beginners and experienced practitioners alike. The sessions focus on different aspects of the body and mind, allowing participants to improve their stamina, balance, and flexibility while detoxifying and rejuvenating the body.
Please bring your own yoga mat, towel, water, and yoga strap (optional) to the sessions. Active SG Registration for Organised Outdoor Activity Reference R226237157 is required for participation. The first-time trial fee is $10, and RSVP confirmation can be done through PayNow transfer to 96343146. The sessions take place at Riverside park, close to Nicoll Highway MRT exit, and all participants are required to comply with COVID-19 safety measures.
