Beachlands Maraetai Pony Club

Founded in 1970, Beachlands Maraetai Pony Club is located at 855 Whitford Maraetai Road, Beachlands. The club operates on 6. 5 acres of land leased from the Manukau City Council. The grounds are conveniently situated near excellent parks, reserves, and bridle trails with beach access, just a short drive away.

The club boasts top-notch facilities, including two all-weather arenas. One of these arenas is particularly impressive, measuring 70m × 40m. In addition to the arenas, the club provides covered yards and wash areas for the convenience of members. A clubhouse is also available, offering great viewing areas overlooking the arenas and riding areas.

For riders looking to challenge themselves, Beachlands Maraetai Pony Club offers a well-constructed cross-country course suitable for riders at Intro to Pre-Training Level. Training level jumps are also available for those looking to push their skills further.

Beachlands Maraetai Pony Club prides itself on being a family-oriented club. The club places high emphasis on its members and their ponies, teaching them how to care for their animals while ensuring they have a great time. It's all about fostering learning and fun!

The club has several upcoming events, including the BMPC Show Jumping Day on Sunday, March 12th, 2023. Please note that due to COVID-19 protocols, there will be no on-the-day entries. Participants can enter the event on Evoevents. Another notable event is the Teams ODC, which will be held at Clevedon PC on March 18th, 2023.
