Bath Women's Badminton Club

Bath Women's Badminton Club is proud to be known as the best women's badminton club in Avon. With our friendly and welcoming atmosphere, we strive to create a space where women can come together to enjoy and excel in the sport of badminton.

Our club offers sessions on Saturdays and Wednesdays. On Saturdays, we have All Abilities and Trial sessions from 09:00 am to 11:00 am, with four courts available for play. This session is open to everyone, including those who are new to the sport and want to give it a try. After your trial session, if you decide to join us, your membership will allow you to book only for Saturday sessions.

Wednesdays are reserved for our Competitive and team practise sessions. These sessions take place from 19:20 pm to 21:20 pm, with two courts available. Please note that Wednesday sessions are limited to BWBCL league team members and players chosen by our coach.

To attend the Saturday session, it is essential to prebook and pay for your space beforehand. If you are interested in joining us for a trial session, please book and pay in advance to secure your slot. We can't wait to meet you and introduce you to the wonderful sport of badminton at Bath Women's Badminton Club.

Our sessions take place at the Bath Sports & Leisure Centre, located at BA2 4ET. We boast a pay and play membership scheme, where you simply pay a set amount every time you attend a club session. Currently, our two-hour sessions cost 9.

Becoming a member is a requirement. On your first session, you will be given a membership form to complete and bring with you to your second session, should you decide to join us. The cost of membership for Bath Women's Badminton Club is 50 per league year. This membership fee includes insurance coverage for your time at the club and entitles you to attend each session for only 9 per session.

While there are no strict dress code rules, we encourage players to wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement during gameplay. It is also recommended to wear badminton shoes or sports shoes that offer good grip, cushioning, and ankle support to reduce the risk of injuries.
