Join Bath Divers, the SCUBA diving club based in Bath! Affiliated with the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), one of the most respected diving certification bodies in the world, Bath Divers offers opportunities for both beginners and seasoned divers.
With a membership of around 60 people of all ages and levels, the club provides a welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether you're new or experienced, you'll find diving buddies to pair up with. The club gathers every Wednesday evening at a pub in Combe Down to plan weekend activities.
Being a part of BSAC, Bath Divers offers a range of benefits like a glossy monthly magazine filled with diving tips and club news, public liability insurance, and discounts on diving gear.
Curious to try SCUBA diving? Bath Divers hosts 'try-dive' sessions during their pool training. These hour-long sessions, led by experienced instructors, will let you experience breathing underwater for the first time. The club also offers various certification courses to become a certified diver.
Already certified with PADI or SSI? No problem! Bath Divers welcomes all certified divers and even offers conversion to BSAC. The club owns a 6.3m rigid inflatable boat with all the necessary gear for coastal dives, and members are encouraged to learn boat handling skills.
