Dan Clarke Personal Training is a Bath-based personal trainer dedicated to improving the strength, posture, general fitness, energy levels, and mood of his clients. With a focus on helping every client move freely and confidently in all their pursuits without pain, Dan aims to provide the accountability and support needed to ingrain positive new habits.
Dan operates from a private home studio in Combe Down and specialises in 1-2-1 and small group coaching. If you're looking for a tidy, well-organised gym away from the busy commercial spaces, Dan's studio is the perfect fit. Additionally, he offers a mobile service, providing all the necessary equipment for clients to train at their convenience, whether it be at home or the office.
Previous clients have praised Dan's attention to detail, incredible knowledge of correct technique, and overall expertise. Clients value their sessions with Dan as essential for their physical and mental health, considering them an investment. With a focus on improving posture and closely monitoring technique, Dan ensures that each session is fulfilling and productive, regardless of your fitness level.
Dan acquired his qualifications at levels 2 and 3 through CYQ over 13 years ago. Since then, he has continued his education by completing various courses in strength and conditioning, structural balance, callisthenics, and kettlebell training. He is passionate about understanding how the body moves and finds fulfilment in helping his clients achieve their physical and mental goals.
Outside his work as a personal trainer, Dan is a father to his son, Fin, who is actively involved in football. Dan also volunteers as a coach for the local Corsham AFC football team, finding great pleasure in being involved with the club. He is also a proud owner of a well-behaved Boston Terrier named Snoop, who often greets clients at the door.
During the first session with Dan, clients can expect discussion and general movement preparation. This may involve low-intensity movements, positions, and stretches to determine where to focus efforts in subsequent sessions. Basic warmup movements will be introduced, which clients can practise outside of training sessions to build necessary skills. Hard work is always expected, but the goal is for clients to leave feeling invigorated, not fatigued.
