Base Fitness & CrossFit in Glasgow is a fitness facility that prides itself on developing a strong community, providing industry-leading coaches, and offering amazing facilities. With eight successful years of operation, the gym has diversified its fitness product to cater to people of all ages and abilities. Their goal is to ensure that each member gets the most out of their workouts.

The philosophy at Base Fitness is centred around keeping fitness constantly varied, simple, and fun. They believe in helping all their members do the common, uncommonly well in all aspects of their training. The gym is fully equipped with top-of-the-line fitness equipment and is staffed with well-educated coaches who are experienced, hard-working, and genuinely care about the development of their clients.

For those new to this style of training or without prior CrossFit experience, Base Fitness offers a “Base Basics” introduction course. This course provides an understanding of the Base Fitness methodology and training style, as well as teaching the basic movements used in classes, such as squats, deadlifts, presses, gymnastics, Olympic lifts, and bodyweight movements. Due to Covid-19, they currently only offer private induction courses.

Group inductions are priced at 50 for two sessions, each lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, which includes skill development and a workout. However, these group inductions are currently unavailable due to Covid-19. Alternatively, for a more personalised experience, individuals can opt for a private induction at 70 per session, lasting 1 hour. They can book a time that suits them and have one-on-one guidance from the coaches.

The dedicated team of coaches at Base Fitness are there to help members reach their fitness goals. The team consists of Tanika, Bryan, Ally, Simon, Mark, and Johnny, all of whom are highly skilled and passionate about helping individuals achieve their best.
