Welcome to Basecamp Yoga, a local hot yoga studio located in Auckland. Basecamp Yoga offers a range of yoga classes, workshops, immersions, and teacher trainings for both seasoned yogis and beginners.
As a new student, you can take advantage of their Intro Special, which includes one week of unlimited classes for just $50. This is a great opportunity to try out different classes and find the ones that resonate with you.
When attending your first class, make sure to arrive 15 minutes early to set yourself up for success. Basecamp Yoga provides yoga mats and sweat towels for new students at no additional cost, so you don't have to worry about bringing your own. However, if you prefer to use your own mat, feel free to bring it along.
Basecamp Yoga prioritises creating a friendly and welcoming environment for all practitioners. In their heated classes, expect to sweat a lot, so make sure to wear appropriate clean attire. They encourage you to stay for the entire class, including the final resting pose, savasana, as it is an important part of the practice. However, if you have any special circumstances or need to leave early, simply let your teacher know and position your mat near the door for a respectful exit.
Kindness and respect towards fellow yogis and the Basecamp Team are highly valued. Engage in great conversations before and after class, but remember to be mindful of your mat neighbour and others in the lounge or lockers.

In terms of parking, there are limited spaces available in front of the studio on a first-come, first-serve basis. Alternatively, you can find plenty of street parking nearby on Sackville St. and Westmorland St. E.
Cancellation policies vary depending on your membership type. For single classes, class packages, and unlimited memberships, it's recommended to cancel at least 12 hours prior to the class start time if you're feeling unwell. This will allow you to receive a class credit. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the deduction of the class from your account.
For workshops and programs, a minimum of 12 hours' notice is required for cancellations in order to receive credit for another workshop. Late cancellations less than 12 hours before the class starts will result in the deduction of your workshop credit.
Please note that Basecamp Yoga has a no-refund policy for single classes, class packages, unlimited memberships, workshops, and apparel and merchandise. Extensions are also not available for single classes, class packages, or unlimited memberships.

Sometimes classes may be waitlisted. If that's the case, waitlisted clients are admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The class is opened to the waitlist 5 minutes before the class start time, so it's recommended to show up early to secure your spot.
Class packages, unlimited memberships, and workshops are non-transferable. All class credits must be used by the original purchasing client.
Memberships at Basecamp Yoga are billed on a monthly recurring basis with a minimum commitment of 3 months. To cancel or skip a month, a 7-day notice is required.
While in the Arokai room, please turn off your cell phones and other electronic devices to fully tune in and immerse yourself in the yoga practice. After class, feel free to take selfies to capture the post-yoga glow!
