Opportunity to compete in local junior tournaments. We aim to create a fun and supportive environment where young players can improve their badminton skills and build confidence.
Membership at Barnet Badminton Club is open to players of all ages and abilities. However, at this time the club is not able to accommodate beginners or social players. The club focuses on providing a friendly and competitive environment for players who are willing to play matches and games.
The club night is held every Sunday at Woodhouse College in North Finchley from 10am to 1pm. During club nights and matches, Yonex feather shuttles are used. There is a guest fee of 15. 00 per player per session for those who wish to join as guests.
In addition to club nights, the club also runs training sessions for its members on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. These sessions are led by a Level 3 BE qualified coach and take place at Burnt Oak Leisure Centre.

Barnet Badminton Club is proud to have several teams competing in different leagues. The Men's Team, led by Captain Jiten Manji, plays in Middlesex Division 5. Jiten is a dedicated player and leader who brings the team together. The Women's Team, led by Captain Eileen Lee, competes in Middlesex Division 4.
Eileen is a skilful player who focuses on motivating and uniting the team. The Mixed Doubles Team, captained by Katherine Kan, also competes in Middlesex Division.
For juniors interested in playing badminton, the club runs a junior badminton session at The Purushottam Mahal Sports Hall, located at The Shree Swamirayan Mandir on Kingsbury Road. The sessions are held on Monday evenings from 6pm to 8pm. Qualified coaches accredited by Badminton England provide coaching and opportunities for social play among the juniors. As juniors progress, the club offers the chance to compete in local tournaments.
