The Balclutha Bridge Club is an affiliated member of the Otago Southland Regional Bridge and is located in Balclutha, New Zealand. Established on May 11, 1965, the club is registered as an Incorporated Society and is affiliated with NZ Bridge. The club is proud to be mortgage-free, owning its own building that was purchased on January 30, 1969. The club currently uses the Scorer computerised programme and posts its results on both the NZ Bridge and the Bridge NZ websites.
Membership at the Balclutha Bridge Club is open to all bridge enthusiasts. Currently, the club has 32 members, but it is actively seeking to increase its numbers. To encourage new members, free bridge lessons are offered on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm at the clubrooms. Interested individuals can simply turn up or contact Jane Whitmore at 027 415 7124 for more information.
The clubrooms of the Balclutha Bridge Club are conveniently located at 9 Crown Street in Balclutha. By turning North/West off the Main Street into George or Elizabeth Streets, crossing over Charlotte Street, and reaching the very end of George and Elizabeth Streets, players will find Crown Street. The clubrooms are situated on the main highway side of Crown Street.

As a member of the Otago Southland Regional Bridge, the Balclutha Bridge Club is part of a larger community of bridge clubs in the region. The Regional Committee of Otago/Southland Regional Bridge, run by its members, aims to provide a local link between clubs and the National Body, coordinate club activities, arrange tournaments, and provide expert advice to any club that may require it. The Regional Committee also conducts regional tournaments.
