Rasa School of Dance

Rasa School of Dance in Dunedin invites you to step into a world of rhythm and movement! 🕺 With a diverse range of classes, including Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Breakdance, and Bollywood, there's something for every dancer at Rasa.

Mila and the team at Rasa are passionate about creating a supportive and determined environment where dancers, from ages 3 to 83, can learn, grow, and express themselves. Classes are available five days a week, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to get moving.

A highlight for all Rasa dancers is the End of Year Show at the renowned Regent Theatre, where students showcase their hard work and shine on stage. Rasa also participates in local competitions like Hip Hop Unite in Wellington and the NZCAF Hip Hop Competition. The RDC (Rasa Dance Company) frequently performs at schools and events around Dunedin, featuring talented students and teachers.

Rasa offers a variety of exam syllabi, including APDA URBAN IGNITION, LUCIDITY Contemporary, JAZZADDICT Jazz, and more. Exams are held twice yearly, giving dancers the chance to challenge and showcase their skills. For those who prefer a more relaxed approach, non-syllabus classes are also available.
