The journey of BA Fitness began in April 2016, when Billy Akrigg, after being made redundant from a job he despised, transformed his parents' garage into a personal training space. In just two months, he went from being a Shop Assistant to a Personal Trainer and Gym Owner. In June 2016, BA Fitness opened its doors at the Trimpell Social Club, offering small and simple Strength & Conditioning sessions.
The objective of BA Fitness was clear from the start – to provide a first-class facility that focused on personalised coaching and guidance, coupled with nutritional advice. The aim was to equip every client with the necessary tools and support to achieve the results they deserve. To this day, BA Fitness continues to uphold this commitment, ensuring that each member receives the highest level of support and guidance.
At BA Fitness, members will experience a friendly team of trainers who are dedicated to helping and coaching them through their strength and conditioning sessions. The team consists of Billy Akrigg, Lauren Akigg, Carrie Bradburn, Emma Mountain, Grace Wakeman, Colette Maddison, Ian Muirhead, and Karen Saunders. These experienced trainers ensure that every member feels comfortable, motivated, and empowered throughout their fitness journey.
BA Fitness offers various membership options. Members can choose between gym-based memberships at their Morecambe facility or opt for online coaching, allowing individuals to work out no matter their location.
