Welcome to Babel School of Dance, the premier dance school in Hayes. With a wide range of classes in ballet, tap, acro, freestyle, contemporary, and GCSE dance, we cater to children of all ages and abilities.
At Babel, our ethos is to provide a warm and friendly yet disciplined environment for children to learn and excel in dance. We believe in treating all children equally, taking into consideration their individual capabilities and personalities. We are dedicated to fostering a love of dance and encouraging the creativity and achievements of our students.
In our classes for children under 5, we offer fun and engaging sessions using feathers and pom poms. As children grow older, they have the opportunity to explore various dance styles such as tap, acro, freestyle, and ballet.
Babel School of Dance holds classes in two locations: Hayes and Heston. In Hayes, we offer classes for children aged 4 to approximately 16 years, including optional RAD ballet exams. In Heston, our classes extend to young adults and include ISTD tap, freestyle, acro, and contemporary dance.
We provide regular examination sessions for children aged 5 and above, allowing them to progress in a formal way. Our dedicated teachers ensure that children are entered for exams only when they are ready, and discussions with parents are held to determine the best course of action.
In addition to classes and exams, Babel School of Dance holds shows and choreography competitions to showcase and celebrate the talent and achievements of our students. We are proud of our most recent production, “BGT,” which took place in July 2023 following the pandemic.
