Hailing from Whangarei, New Zealand, Shannon's passion for rowing blossomed at Whangarei Girls High School back in 2012. Her remarkable journey includes winning the Women's Single Sculls title in 2022, a significant achievement that marked her prowess in the sport. Off the waters, Shannon aims to follow in her parents' footsteps by joining the police force, with a dream of specializing as a dog handler.
