Biography
Ruby Pass is a young Australian gymnast who has shown remarkable dedication and talent from a very young age. Growing up in Shellharbour, Ruby’s early days in gymnastics involved her parents pledging hours of travel time to support her ambitions. At the age of 10, Ruby made the bold move to Sydney’s more competitive gymnastics scene, training at Delta Gymnastics. This commute was a testament to her commitment, as it involved a three-hour round trip six days a week.
Ruby's hard work paid off as she began to gain recognition on the junior international stage. She was honored as Gymnastics Queensland's Junior International Gymnast of the Year in 2021 and continued to collect accolades, including the Women's Artistic Gymnastics International Athlete Award of Excellence in 2022. Her transition to senior competition in 2023 was nothing short of impressive, with standout performances at the Oceania Championships, and World Cup events in Doha and Baku.
One of Ruby’s most memorable achievements came in 2023 when she helped the Australian women's artistic gymnastics team secure a spot at the Paris Olympics. It was a historic moment as the team, including Ruby, achieved what hadn't been done since the London 2012 Olympics. Competing at prestigious events like the DTB Pokal Team Challenge in Stuttgart, Ruby continued to showcase her talent, contributing to her team’s silver medal finish and placing well in individual events.
