Biography
Margo Joseph-Kuo, a gifted artistic swimmer hailing from Fitzroy, has quickly emerged as one of Australia's bright stars in the pool. Starting her journey at Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar in Melbourne, Margo's dedication to artistic swimming was tested but never wavered, even during the challenging times brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. Qualifying for the 2020 FINA World Championships just before the global shutdown, she had to adapt to solo training sessions and virtual coaching, which deepened her resolve and love for the sport. Margo's resilience paid off as she swiftly returned to national competition, culminating in a stellar performance at the 2023 World Aquatic Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. There, she and her team secured a spot for the Paris Olympics with a remarkable top-10 finish. Continuing her upward trajectory, Margo shone at multiple international events, including a silver and bronze medal haul at the World Cup in Beijing in 2024. With her relentless spirit and passion for artistic swimming, Margo is set to make waves on the global stage.
