Biography
Liv Lovelace, hailing from Camperdown, Australia, discovered her love for skateboarding at just eight years old. The freedom and boundless nature of skateboarding captivated her, allowing her to explore and grow into the person she is today. Skateboarding remains her sanctuary, whether she’s cruising through the streets with friends or skating solo to the rhythm of her favorite tunes.
As a top-ranked street skateboarder, Liv has represented Australia on the global stage. She competed at the 2018 and 2019 world championships and was poised for the Tokyo Olympics debut of skateboarding until an unfortunate injury – a broken arm – set her back. After a rigorous recovery involving multiple surgeries and a subsequent ankle injury, Liv made a remarkable comeback. She clinched third place at the Oceania Championships and fourth at the national level. Her persistence paid off when she secured a 10th place finish at the 2022 world championships.
In 2023, Liv's performances on the world skateboarding tour placed her 18th in the rankings, ultimately earning her a spot at the Paris 2024 Olympics by finishing 15th in the Olympic qualification series in Budapest. Liv’s journey is a testament to her resilience and unwavering passion for skateboarding.
