Lauren Ryan, based in Maryland, USA, is a standout athlete originally from Victoria, Australia. Rising through the ranks of athletics, Lauren broke Australia's 21-year-old National 10,000m record, securing her place for Paris 2024. Her journey began in cross country during her school years, eventually focusing on track at the age of 16. Catching attention early, she joined the World Junior team at 18 and ran a personal best in the 3000m. Overcoming an injury setback, Lauren's hard work led to multiple personal bests from 1500m to 10,000m between 2020 and 2022. She capped off 2023 with a shock victory in the Zatopek 10k.
