Kate Haines hails from the beautiful island city-state of Singapore, but her heart belongs to the waters where she excels as a promising rower representing New Zealand. Known for her determination and skill in the sport of rowing, Kate has set her sights on the Paris Olympics, where she will be showcasing her talent in the Women's Pair with her skilled partner Alana Sherman. Kate's journey in rowing began in 2022 at the Women's Quadruple Sculls, laying a strong foundation for her future successes. Apart from her sporting ambitions, Kate dreams of following her father's footsteps to Cambridge University in the UK, where she hopes to participate in the renowned Cambridge vs Oxford Boat Race. With her sights set on both academic and athletic excellence, Kate embodies the spirit of a true champion.
