Biography
Grace Brown made a remarkable transition from cross-country running to professional cycling just eight years ago, driven by a need to avoid recurrent stress fractures. Starting her cycling career with a local club in Melbourne, Grace's competitive spirit rapidly propelled her up the ranks. From clinching gold at the Australian Time Trial Championship in 2019 to her first European win in Belgium's Brabantse Pijl in 2020, Grace quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with. Despite a fourth-place finish in the Tokyo 2020 women's individual time trial, she continued to rack up accolades, including her second Australian time trial title and a Commonwealth Games gold in 2022. Grace has consistently proven her mettle, earning silver at consecutive Road World Championships in 2022 and 2023. Earlier in 2023, she showcased her resilience and strategy by winning the Women's Tour Down Under, solidifying her status as a top professional road cyclist.
