Alexei Popyrin’s journey through the world of tennis has been nothing short of remarkable. Starting off as a standout player in Australia's U12 tournaments, Alexei showcased his talent early by securing victories in both the singles grass court and doubles clay court championships.
His leap into the international scene came in 2013 when he began competing on the ITF junior circuit. 2016 was a pivotal year as he clinched his first professional win at an Italian ITF Futures tournament, marking the beginning of a promising career.
Alexei's 2017 season saw him achieve junior glory by securing 22 consecutive matches victories and sweeping titles across various tournaments, including the prestigious French Open junior singles title. This streak underscored his potential and determination.
