In Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, a Tristana, or Tri Focus, consisting of Ujjayi (breath control), Bandha (energy locks), and Dristi (gazing points), is established to clear away unnecessary thoughts and distractions from the mind. This practise can then progress to reciting the vinyasa count or any other mantra of choice, allowing individuals to quieten their thoughts and connect with their inner selves.

Classes at Ashtanga Yoga Shropshire include Ashtanga Yoga on Sundays from 10 am to 11:15 am, priced at 8. 50 per session. The studio also offers beginners' yoga classes on Sundays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, with a block of four sessions available for 30. Private classes and one-on-one sessions with Jenna are also available, providing individuals with personalised attention and guidance in their yoga practise.
