Throughout the year, the club holds shooting sessions on most Saturdays at the sports ground, providing ample opportunities for members to participate. From March to September, exciting competitions take place on both Saturdays and Sundays. For those preferring indoor shooting, the primary school hosts competitions on average two Sundays a month from October to March.
For those interested in trying their hand at archery, Welland Valley Archers offers a Beginners' Course. This comprehensive course costs £35.00 per person and all necessary equipment is provided. Qualified club members, who undergo DBS checks, lead the course. The club places a strong emphasis on child protection, ensuring the safety of their young members. Children under the age of 13 must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For parents who come to watch, it is advisable to bring a chair for added comfort.
