Paringa Archers, the renowned archery club in Launceston, invites all enthusiastic individuals to join their Archery Come N Try event. This event is designed to provide a relaxed and friendly introduction to the captivating world of archery. For those curious about giving archery a shot, this is the perfect opportunity.
The session typically runs for around two and a half hours, giving participants ample time to familiarise themselves with the sport. Paringa Archers offers two convenient options for the Archery Come N Try session. On Saturday mornings, from 9:30am till 12pm, the club opens its range to the public. In the event of rain, we will move the session to our indoor range. Please note that the Saturday morning session welcomes archers as young as 7 years old.
For those unable to make it on Saturdays, we also offer Wednesday night sessions. From 6:30pm to 9:00pm, our indoor range welcomes aspiring archers, with a minimum age requirement of 13 years old. We kindly request that children under 16 be accompanied by a parent or guardian. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all, we kindly ask participants to register in advance.
When it comes to fees, they are determined based on membership status and equipment usage. Our friendly team will be more than happy to provide you with further details upon registration. We are fully committed to supporting archery enthusiasts along their journey, and offer various programs to help individuals progress and enhance their skills. One such program is the highly popular Oz Bow, which provides exciting challenges and opportunities for growth.
