Apex Diving & Marine, nestled right here in Portland, Dorset, has been making waves in the diving and marine world for over 30 years now. Originally kick-started by Peter Knight, the reins were handed over to Ian Taylor back in April 2016. With two decades under his belt in providing top-notch work boats and diving support vessels, Ian's been around the block.

Serving as a qualified HSE commercial diver since '92, Ian's a well-known figure on the south coast and even keeps his sea legs sharp as the Deputy Coxswain of Weymouth's RNLI all-weather lifeboat. Our base at Portland Marina houses our office and a spacious workshop/storage unit decked out with the latest diving gear, all up to scratch with IMCA 36 standards.

We've got a fleet that's ready for anything, from fast catamarans to a nimble RHIB, all perfect for dive support, surveys, guard duty, trial support—you name it.
