Anthony's coaching career began in 2006 when he became a PGA Qualified Professional. He has since delivered coaching for renowned companies such as Adidas and Hilton Hotels, as well as coaching at prestigious European Tour events like The Open Championship. Anthony has also played a significant role in school golf initiatives and co-founded Golfxcel Academies in Leeds.
Having started playing golf at the age of 13 at Wath Golf Club in Rotherham, Anthony has a deep understanding and love for the game. He served as Assistant Professional at Wath Golf Club from 1998 to 2010 and currently holds the position of Head Coach since 2016. His dedication and commitment to the sport have earned him numerous accolades, including graduating from the PGA with honours, ranking among the top 10 graduates of his year.
At Anthony Dickinson Golf Coaching, Anthony utilises state-of-the-art Flightscope technology. Flightscope is a 3D Doppler Radar tracking system that accurately measures and collects data from 25+ parameters of the clubhead and ball flight. With this technology, Anthony can analyse your swing dynamics and ball flight characteristics, enabling him to provide tailored coaching and determine the best course of action for improvement.
Anthony's coaching philosophy focuses on breaking down the swing into simple stages, helping golfers hit the ball longer, straighter, and more consistently. He believes in increasing consistency and confidence to lower scores and handicap.
