Annapolis Valley Climbing Club - West Kings location

Welcome to the Annapolis Valley Climbing Club – West Kings location. The Annapolis Valley Climbing Club is a registered not-for-profit society in Nova Scotia, focusing on the development of indoor bouldering in the Annapolis Valley region since 2013. While initially focusing on youth development, the club has expanded to include members of the whole community through the opening of new facilities in Annapolis Royal.

The club owns the Academy Loft Bouldering Gym in Annapolis Royal and facilitates three additional bouldering walls in the region. Maintaining high quality construction, equipment, and route-setting, the club offers programming for climbers of all levels. Be sure to cheque the club's Facebook events page for upcoming climbing events at all facilities.

The Academy Loft Climbing Gym, located inside the old Annapolis Royal Regional Academy, offers a range of challenges for climbers of all ages and skill levels. West Kings District High School in Auburn also hosts a top-notch bouldering wall, following a renovation in 2019.

Current programs are running at the Academy Loft Climbing Gym and West Kings District High School. Dates and times can be found on the club's Facebook calendar of events. Drop-ins are welcome, with waivers available for download on the club's website. Cash and on-site Interac E-Transfer are accepted, with punch cards available for purchase.

While the club does not currently have a membership system in place, it is on the agenda for the coming years following the completion of the West Kings renovation.
