Peter Gillespie, founder of Alpinecoaching, wants to share some exciting updates with the sports community. Based in Hemel Hempstead, Alpinecoaching provides a range of courses and services catering to all skiing abilities. With over 33 years of experience, Peter, also known as Pete Silver Gillespie, has built a reputation for high-quality coaching and guiding.

Peter holds an impressive array of qualifications, including Staatlich gerprüfter Skilehrer, DSLV, Snowsports Academy Austria, BASI L4 International Ski Teacher Diploma, and ISIA professional card. Fluent in both English and German, Peter offers coaching in both languages.

One of Peter's key areas of expertise is developing all-mountain and off-piste skiing skills. He enjoys exploring natural mountain terrain and introduces his guests to new experiences. As an off-piste instructor and leader, he focuses on equipping skiers with the skills needed to navigate various terrains and snow conditions. Whether through ski lifts, traversing, bootpacking, or skinning, Peter ensures his guests can ski with confidence and freedom.

Alpinecoaching is registered in Tirol, Austria, allowing them to teach, coach, and lead within the agreed EU framework. The team’s professional qualifications ensure top-notch coaching and guiding services.

In addition to standard coaching, Alpinecoaching offers private guiding, technical skill development, off-piste adventure trips in Austria and the UK, heli-skiing in Spain, off-piste trips in Slovenia, cat skiing in North Macedonia, telemark courses, and instructor training. They also offer specialised courses like IASI Level 2 Alpine, IASI Level 2 Telemark, IASI Level 1 Snowboard, and IASI Adaptive instructors.

For the 2023/24 season, Alpinecoaching will focus on smaller bespoke group courses with a maximum of 8 people. Guests can choose private guiding or join organised groups with like-minded skiers of similar performance levels.
