Alice Panascia is a dedicated yoga instructor based in London, UK. With a passion for yoga that began in her teenage years, Alice discovered its transformative power when she found relief from lower back pain caused by poor posture. It was during this time that her first yoga teacher introduced her to the importance of breath, teaching her the profound impact it can have on both the body and mind.
Over the years, Alice has delved deeper into her yoga practise, exploring various styles such as Hatha and Ashtanga, as well as Scaravelli and Iyengar. This eclectic mix of influences is reflected in her teaching style, which combines the classical Hatha approach with an organic and fluid approach.
In 2013, Alice finally had the opportunity to pursue her dream of becoming a yoga teacher by completing her Yoga Teacher Training. Under the guidance of her extraordinary teacher, Bram Williams, she obtained a 500-hour diploma with the renowned “British Wheel of Yoga. ” This comprehensive training provided her with a solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the ethical and philosophical foundations of yoga.
Inspired by her own experiences of pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood, Alice decided to further her qualifications by becoming a certified (Birthlight) Perinatal Yoga Teacher. This enables her to empower and support other women by integrating the principles of yoga into their prenatal and postnatal journeys. She has also obtained certifications to teach Baby and Toddler yoga, fostering positive and enjoyable interactions between parents or caregivers and their children. Alice's passion for sharing the benefits of yoga extends beyond these age groups, as she recently began teaching yoga to children up to 12 years old (YogaBeez).
Additionally, she has started teaching Chair Yoga in Nursing Homes, recognising the importance of making yoga accessible to individuals with limited mobility.
Alice's yoga classes cater to a diverse range of individuals. She offers Prenatal Yoga for expectant mothers, providing a safe and nurturing space for them to connect with their bodies and babies. For new mothers, she offers Postnatal Yoga classes aimed at rebuilding strength and nurturing self-care. Her popular Toddler Yoga classes create a fun and interactive environment for little ones to explore movement and develop body awareness.
Her students have nothing but praise for her teaching style, with testimonials describing her classes as a great experience and filled with joy and positive energy.
Based in East London, Alice welcomes students from all walks of life. To get in touch with her, she can be reached via email at alice. Panascia@gmail. Com or by phone at +44 (0) 7528 472421.
