Was accepted into McMaster University's Dance program in 2013. While at McMaster, Leah performed in an array of faculty shows and at the In/Verse Showcase. Upon graduation, she took up teaching at different studios in the community, and in 2017, she received her and a Business Degree from Mohawk College in Business with an Accounting specialty. Realizing her dream, on March 1st, 2019 she opened Alegria Dance Company.

We pride ourselves on our welcoming and friendly environment, where everyone feels comfortable to learn at their own pace. There are no silly questions, and our students are encouraged to ask about anything they may be unsure of in class. Each is equipped with sound systems, harlequin sprung floors, and professional lighting.
