Weeks prior to any communication to swimmers/parents. In some cases the move may involve a short transition period, the swimmer would remain in their current squad and attend a 1–2 sessions per week with their intended new squad to allow for orientation/adaptation to the change. Movement between squads is based on a swimmer's individual progress, commitment, and attitude towards training. It is important for the development of each swimmer that they are placed in the appropriate squad to maximise their potential and ensure they continue to enjoy the sport.
Aer Lingus Swim Club is committed to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all swimmers.
