The Adult Dragon Boat program at Petrie Island Canoe Club is the perfect opportunity for folks looking to get out on the water and have some fun. With a mix of beginners and experienced paddlers, it's a great way to meet new people and stay active during the summer months.
Led by our team of experienced instructors, you'll head out onto the Ottawa River once or twice a week with your crew to practice drills and skills. If you're feeling competitive, there's also the option to take part in local dragon boat races to test your skills against other teams.
No matter your experience level, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. Just make sure you're comfortable in the water, as safety is our number one priority. And don't worry if you miss a session due to holidays or bad weather - we'll make sure you get a chance to make it up.
Our Adult Dragon Boat program runs from July 2 to August 23, with different sessions available throughout the week to suit your schedule. Prices start at $168 for one session per week or $263 for two sessions, so there's an option for everyone.
