Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you CAN do to improve your overall wellbeing. Not only does it reduce the risk of many chronic diseases, it alleviates depression and anxiety and boosts mental alertness.
The City of Gold Coast’s (City) Active & Healthy Program offers over 200 free and low-cost activities weekly across the City. Activities include fitness, sport, recreation and well being activities that are fun, enjoyable and suitable for all shapes and sizes.
Whether it’s skateboarding, deep water running and yoga or tai chi, kids’ fitness and walking, activities are available seven days per week at different locations throughout the city.
Activities are delivered by qualified and supportive fitness and wellness professionals who are there to help you become fitter, stronger, healthier and most importantly happier.
