Experienced members are ready to assist newcomers in learning how to effectively shoot a rifle from 300 yards to 700 metres, including dialling sights and reading wind conditions.

The club offers various shooting disciplines to suit the interests and proficiency of its members. These include Target Rifle (TR), F-class Target Rifle (FTR), F-class Standard (FS), and F-class Open (FO). Each discipline has its own specifications, including the types of sights and weight limitations for the rifles used.

Werribee Rifle Club is also able to provide technical advice to members regarding the purchase of suitable firearms, optics, and ammunition reloading techniques for precision and accuracy at long range.
