Warragul Motorcycle Club

The Warragul Motorcycle Club is a sports club located in Baw Baw Shire, Victoria. The club aims to provide a community for motorcycle enthusiasts and promotes safe and responsible riding. They host various events and activities for riders of all ages and skill levels.

One of their notable events is the Variety Dirt Bike Ride for the Kids, a community fundraiser for children's charity. Participants are required to make a donation of $100, which is fully tax-deductible. The ride takes place on an 80 km loop in the Neerim East area, featuring new and exciting tracks. The terrain consists of open fire trails, single track, and a small amount of transport sections.

For more adventurous riders, there are diversions to harder sections scattered throughout the course. The average ride duration is approximately 3 hours. At the end of the ride, a BBQ lunch, can of drink, and stubbie holder are provided, followed by a presentation of prizes. Local businesses have generously donated a total prize pool of approximately $3000.

In addition to their events, the Warragul Motorcycle Club also organises interclub days for members of various neighbouring clubs. These fun and practise days are a great opportunity for members to ride and socialise. They offer options for both motocross and enduro tracks.

The club also holds annual general meetings, which include trail rides, AGM meetings, and dinners. These events provide an opportunity for members to discuss club matters and enjoy some off-road riding. Showers, dinner, and drinks are provided during these gatherings.

To participate in the club's events, riders must have a valid motorcycle licence and their motorcycles must be in sound mechanical condition and equipped with headlights and taillights. Riders are also required to have number plates fitted to the rear of their motorcycles. Sign-in usually starts at 8:30 am, and rides typically begin at 10:00 am. Riders will receive an email with their entry and rider number a few days after registering.
