Tuggeranong Little Athletics Association is a sports club located in Kambah, in the Tuggeranong Valley of Canberra. With a focus on the Little Athletics motto of “Family, Fun and Fitness,” the club aims to create an enjoyable and active environment for children aged up to 17.
The club organises competitions every Saturday morning, starting at 8:45am. These competitions provide an opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills and compete in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Athletes can participate in a range of track and field events, including sprints, long jump, shot put, and more.
In addition to weekly competitions, Tuggeranong Little Athletics Association offers training sessions on Wednesday afternoons from 5pm to 6pm at the Kambah No. 3 Oval on Kett Street. These training sessions are available for athletes in the Under 8 age group and above, helping them improve their skills and achieve their personal bests.
The club has recently introduced Tiny Tots for 4-5 year olds (born in 2019 and 2020). The Tiny Tots programme runs every Saturday morning for 1 hour, starting at 8:45am. This programme provides a fun and interactive introduction to athletics, allowing young children to develop their motor skills and love for physical activity.
