Traditional Karate Academy

Traditional Karate Academy (TKA) teaches Shito Ryu Karate with its headquarters in Coogee, Western Australia.

TKA established its first dojo in 2001 and was recognised by the Australian Karate Federation (AKF) in March 2002. Since inception TKA has strived to become a school dedicated to the traditional karate training while strongly supporting and participating in World Karate Federation recognised tournaments.

For the last several years TKA students have been frequently invited to and have participated in national tournaments as a part of WA State Karate Team.

TKA currently has three dojos in the Perth Metropolitan Area with continuously growing number of members. Anyone above the minimum age of 6 is welcome to join. TKA caters for all ages and skill levels with beginners, junior and senior classes available.
