The word Yoga literally describes the union of the body, the mind, the heart, and the spirit – simply the natural way of being. You will learn physical postures to improve your strength, balance and flexibility, together with breathing exercises for relaxation and concentration which promote health, well-being, and a feeling of calmness.
Yoga brings deep relaxation. Because the postures work deeply into muscular tissue, entrenched habitual tension is released. You become aware of the patterns of tension in your body and learn to let go of them, consciously, in your daily life. Through becoming more in touch with your body, you also become more aware of the other aspects of yourself.
